Our Journey So Far
Tempx Valnex started in a small London space with five people who shared one gripe: existing crypto platforms were either too complex for new users or too basic for serious traders. We set out to build one solution that worked for both.
Eighteen months of development and beta testing with 500+ UK traders led to our March 2022 launch. Uptake was strong. In the first six months we handled over £5.2 million in trading volume and were named a Top Crypto Fintech Broker by Global Forex Awards.
In 2023 we grew to 40+ staff, opened an office in Manchester, and introduced Tokenizer360—a marketplace where users can follow strategies from vetted experts. Finance Derivative named us Most Innovative Online Broker that year.
In 2024, Global Brands Magazine ranked us among the Fastest Growing Brokers. We put that down to users who liked what we built and told others—not to heavy marketing.

Dr. Sarah Mitchell – Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Mitchell holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of London and has spent 15 years in fintech. She drives Tempx Valnex’s strategy and previously held senior positions at UK banks and blockchain firms.
James Chen – Chief Technology Officer
James has extensive experience in AI and machine learning from his time at Google’s London office and as a co-founder of Tempx Valnex. He is responsible for technical development and algorithm design.
Rebecca Thompson – Head of Compliance & Legal
Rebecca is a chartered accountant and legal adviser with a focus on UK financial regulation. She makes sure the platform stays within the rules and that user interests are protected.
Michael Rodriguez – Head of Trading Strategy
